How to: Apply Paw Balm

I think most of us can agree that it's not the easiest task getting our pets to co-operate when it comes time to apply the regular (or occasional if you’re lucky) ointments and creams. For this reason, it is important that you try to familiarise your dog with the Paw Balm before applying it to make the process much smoother for both you and your pup!

How to apply the Paw Balm

Step 1:

Using a clean cloth and warm water, clean your dog’s paws to remove any surface dirt that may still be there. It is best that you get your dog to lay down on their side to make it more comfortable for them, and easier for you.

Step 2:

Rub a generous amount of the balm onto your fingers and massage the product into your dog’s paw pads. Make sure to distribute the balm evenly and that there are no clumps of balm left on your pet’s paws.

 Step 3:

If possible, keep your dog laying down for just a short while after applying the paw balm to allow the product to absorb into their pads and prevent them from slipping.

Recommendations:

  • We recommend using the Paw Balm twice daily for a minimum of 4 weeks to see best results.

  • It is very likely your pet will try to lick the Paw Balm whilst you are applying it to their paws... let them (in moderation of course)! The Paw Balms are made from 100% natural ingredients and the coconut oil is the secret ingredient to keep them occupied long enough for you to successfully apply it.

  • Please note, this product uses all natural ingredients and oils are prone to melt in high heat. We recommend you store your balm in a cool, dry place to maintain the product.
